In fact the oldest "trullo" dates back to the beginning of the 18th C, whereas the other adjacent parts were added on at later stages. It has been the priority of the owner, an interior decorator by trade, to keep the charm of the place intact with the use of traditional materials and colours whilst introducing modern comforts such as central heating and proper bath tubs! The property is set in three acres of mature olive groves and Mediterranean gardens. Because of its dynamic structure, the property can be rented out in parts or as a whole, without the former solution ever creating any unwanted contact between the occupiers of the different parts, as the trullo overlooks one side of the garden and the lamie overlook the other.
